LOCAL HEROES ON A PLATE

This restaurant may have one of the most commonly used women’s names in Holland but its menu is anything but common. All the products are cultivated locally, on a nearby farm. The herbs used for the dishes even grow in the restaurant itself, in a greenhouse which is illuminated by Philips lighting. An unusual combination of local high-tech and local farming, especially when situated in the middle of a restaurant!

Naturally, the desserts are also locally made, by Pinkie Patisserie, which is situated in the same building. The local ‘queen of desserts’ has a mini location here, which not only serves delicious desserts, but also high tea, coffee treats and great take-away pastries.
