GLOW

BLINDED BY THE LIGHT

“Then I think about Brabant, because the lights are still on there…”. This is stated in the ‘regional anthem’ of Brabant, the Dutch province of which Eindhoven is a part. And it is absolutely true, especially in November. Fly over Eindhoven, and you might just get blinded by lighting objects… At this time of the year, tourists visit Eindhoven massively during Glow, an event that is all about the art of light.

The Catharina Church, which is normally a hotspot for the homeless and skaters, is one of the centerpieces during Glow. It is creatively lit and impressive. You can see everything in about one and a half hour, but there is actually no time limit. Between six and eleven pm the city will serve as the stage, so just wonder around and enjoy the show!
