So you think Eindhoven is uninteresting? Then you only know it by the nickname of PSV, the local football team. This city is super smart and it is also the proud hometown of the renowned Design Academy. All nerds, hipsters and creatives are given a stage in this city during Dutch Design Week, which is all about design and innovation for one and a half weeks.

During DDW, designers from all over the world form one big creative melting pot, right in the middle of Eindhoven. Hop in a free DDW-cab and let it drop you off at all the different destinations. It also comes in handy when you are too lazy to walk and just need a ride from Strijp S to Hotel The Match. Good to know: The restaurants are really crowded between the 20th and 28th of October, so make sure you arrange a reservation!
