The living room of Strijp S, that’s what it’s meant to be, according to Andre Amaro, godfather of Het Ketelhuis. He probably meant this quite literally, because the old boiler room is hardly bigger than the average suburban living room. This means it is full very quickly!

Truth be told, it is cozy here and when you are lucky they start a warm fire on the terrace. Bartender Sten shakes dangerously good cocktails, which will certainly set you on fire. The restaurant is located on Strijp S, where the industrial heritage of Philips is the most tangible. Factories are given a new lease of life here, as offices, restaurants or great lofts. Besides that, Het Ketelhuis often serves as the decor for low key festivals.
